Luis Calvillo is the founder of Mighty Apps, LLC and a San Diego-based iOS developer with over a decade of experience building iOS apps and digital products.
He is the original creator of ShredSpots, a skateboarding discovery app that grew to over 100,000 downloads and was successfully acquired in 2021. Marking his first exit as a founder. He is also the Co-Founder & CTO of WhattaEat, a social food discovery platform that helps people decide what to eat through short-form videos.
Luis specializes in building clean, user-friendly iOS applications and loves exploring new technologies like visionOS for Apple Vision Pro. Through Mighty Apps, he continues to ship high-quality mobile products for both his own startups and select client projects.
He is also the creator of the App Canvas: a practical framework designed to help founders build apps that people actually open and use daily.
